Sacred Relics & Veneration Events
Why Catholics Venerate Relics
We honor God through contempating and learning from the holy lives of His saints. Relics provide a tangible connection to holy men and women who lived exemplary lives of faith. Rooted in Sacred Scripture (such as 2 Kings 13:21 and Acts 19:11–12), we pray near relics to draw closer to Christ and to seek the saints’ powerful intercession for healing, grace, and spiritual strength.
