1. Columbian Award Requirements

Recognizes council excellence in spiritual, charitable, and fraternal programming. Form SP-7 due by 6/30/2027

REQUIREMENT 1 In Progress

Financial / Material Donation

Summary: Donate at least $500 as part of one of the following Faith in Action programs: ASAP (cash or item value), Food for Families (cash or 1,000 lb/ 450 kg of food), RSVP, or Coats for Kids.
What is Needed:

A minimum $500 donation (or 1,000 lbs of food) given directly to a local cause under Food for Families, ASAP, RSVP, or Coats for Kids.

How We Met / Are Meeting It:

Completed via Food for Families (1,000 lbs+ donated to our local food pantry). Verify refund Form #10057 was logged with Supreme.

REQUIREMENT 2 In Progress

Four Core Faith in Action Pillars

Summary: Complete and report at least one distinct program in each Faith in Action category.
What is Needed:

One completed event for Faith, Family, Community, and Life reported via Form #10784 (cannot duplicate Req 1).

How We Met / Are Meeting It:
  • ○ Faith: RSVP (Seminarian Burse) — scheduled for 11/06/2026.
  • ○ Family: Remembering Our Faithful Departed — scheduled for 11/08/2026.
  • ✓ Community: Global Wheelchair Mission — completed on 8/22-8/23/2026.
  • ○ Life: Silver Rose Prayer Service - scheduled for 10/15/2026.

Cor Initiative

Summary: Provide monthly opportunities for parish men to grow in faith, prayer, and fraternity.
What is Needed:

Sustain monthly Cor gatherings combining prayer, formation, and fraternity starting on or before April 1 (satisfies all sub-criteria).

Next Steps:

Requested Cor approval from pastor on 10/26/2026. Waiting for response.

Focuses on membership growth and promoting fraternal financial security.

How We Are Meeting It:

Coordinating directly with our Field Agent to offer personalized financial checkups to Associate members.

Ensures council governance, safe environment, and reporting remain in good standing.

How We Met It:

All training and background checks were completed on time.
